The executive functions of children with autism and children with intellectual disabilities
Specifically, the research focuses in the assessment of the executive functions and the intervention to develop the relative cognitive abilities under the scope of examining the possibilities of far transfer. The aim of the research is to examine whether by developing the executive functions other skills such as social and communication skills could be affected or not. If this far transfer is indeed possible then the education of students with impairments could be extended towards cognitive intervention
