Accessibility webinar – level A

With this free of charge webinar, we initiated a series of free training on accessibility issues. Our goal is to contribute to the effective support of students and pupils with disabilities at a national level. In the first online seminar, we trained higher education staff involved in supporting students with disabilities and in the production of accessible educational materials for higher education students with disabilities. The aim was to provide basic knowledge in the field of production of accessible educational material for students with visual impairments. We presented to the trainees the basic principles and methodology for the production of verbal descriptions of images, tactile images, audio-tactile images and accessible videos. There was a great response and participation from all over the country. Specifically, staff from 22 Universities of Greece and 2 of Cyprus participated as trainees.
